Direct vents
High efficiency, sealed gas fireplace systems. Fresh air is pulled from the exterior of the house from the flue and burned within the combustion chamber. The unwanted products of combustion are isolated from the home throught the chimney or pipe. These fireplaces can be vented horizontally or vertically and will minimize heat loss through the chimney.

Vent Free
These fireplaces are designed for efficiency without the need for a flue. High efficiency system providing clean heat directly to the living space without producng harmful levels of combustion byproducts. These require sufficient combustion air and they should not be located in small areas that may become too warm.

What is a Universal fireplace?

Factory-built, fireplace that is specifically designed for vent-free gas logs. A vent-free fireplace system, the unit does not come from the factory with a burner assembly and logs pre-installed. Log are purchased separately. These fireplaces are installed without chimney and will not work for solid fuels or vented gas appliances, which produce harmful amounts of unburned combustion byproducts.
